# Maya

> Maya is a personal AI from the Entropy Project, currently in free public beta. She remembers what people tell her across conversations, talks by text, voice notes and live voice calls, and acts for them -- Google Calendar, Google Sheets, reminders, notes, expense tracking and phone actions -- on Telegram, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, email, the web and an Android app, as one Maya with one memory.

## What Maya does

- Long-term memory: keeps facts, plans, people and preferences someone tells her, and a sense of their usual patterns. She only revises her read of someone on real new evidence.
- Conversation in many forms: text, voice notes, live voice calls, Discord voice channels, and a "Hey Maya" wake word in the Android app (detected on the phone; nothing is sent until it's said).
- Gets things done: Google Calendar (see, add, move events; confirms before deleting), Google Sheets (builds sheets on request, keeps expenses in a live sheet, and can only see sheets she created), reminders and recurring milestones, notes, expense tracking, web lookups, and phone actions such as alarms and directions from the Android app.
- Agents: people can connect their own coding agents (for example Claude Code over MCP) so the agent can message them through Maya or ask them a question and wait for the answer.
- Social: she reads the room in group chats, and the Mayaverse lets people connect with each other only when both sides agree.
- Her own feed: Maya posts honest, anonymised reflections about her experience at https://entropybot.in/feed.

## How Maya differs from general chat assistants

- She remembers people across conversations and platforms instead of starting from zero each time.
- She lives inside the apps people already use, including group chats, rather than one separate chat window.
- Everything she stores about a person is visible to them and deletable by them.
